Undergraduate Students
Candidates for our lab need to be enrolled in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Most of our undergraduate lab members are from Natural Science Ⅰ course, but there are also a few members from Natural Science Ⅱ course or Human Science course. In the Department of Mechanical Engineering, students have the opportunity to study advance topics in mechanical engineering, including mechanobiology. Candidates are assigned to labs in April during the 4th year of undergrad.

Master Students
Candidates can enter our lab via either the Department of Mechanical Engineering or the Department of Bioengineering. Admission information (entrance examination etc.) is available on the website of each department. Potential candidates are encouraged to submit their detailed CV and GPA by email to furukawa@mech.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp.
The entrance examination is held in Summer and Winter seasons.

Doctoral Students
Similar to Master Students, candidates can enter our lab via either the Department of Mechanical Engineering or the Department of Bioengineering. Details are written in the entrance recruitment list. The entrance examination is held in August and February. Candidates must contact the supervising professor that they wish to study under before sending formal applications.
